Abstract
We have experienced eight cases of liver abscess who are proved in amebic origin by clinical procedure.
Two of them were operated surgically because of the complication of subphrenic abscess and peritonitis by each. One of the two was successfully treated with surgical and medical management. Another case, however, was expired three days after operation with shock which was caused by panperitonitis.
All of the six remains were cured only by means of liver aspiration and with the administration of chloroquine, car¢¥aarsone and emetine.
